Using Journal Databases
Article databases (e.g., periodical indexes) relevant to your subject or topic will help you retrieve relevant articles. Databases provide information about journal articles, and sometimes other types of resources, such as magazine and newspaper articles, books and dissertations. To identify relevant databases for your topic, the library has created a number of Research Guides that focus on specific topics and subject areas. Consult the “Articles” section of the Subject Research Guide of interest to you to find a list of recommended periodical indexes.
