The Academic Integrity module is designed to help you:

understand what “academic integrity” is and how it applies to your work at the University

describe the six values of academic integrity and the role they play within an academic community
- develop familiarity with the York University Senate Policy and Procedure on Academic Conduct
- identify how you can prevent engaging in a breach of academic integrity
- recognize how to use AI-based tools responsibly in ways that align with instructor expectations and with academic integrity standards
- use and cite sources appropriately in your own work

learn how and where to seek help on questions related to academic integrity
The information provided in this module is applicable to all subject and research areas and any level of study.
